We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Medical Assistant will support healthcare professionals by performing various clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient operation of the medical office.

Contract nature: One Year renewable depending on performance and availability of budget.
1.Clinical Support: Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures. Take patient vital signs, prepare examination rooms, and sterilize medical instruments. 2.Patient Care: Greet patients, take medical histories, and prepare them for examination. Provide instructions to patients regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care as directed by the physician. 3.Administrative Tasks: Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle billing and insurance processing. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with patient check-in and check-out procedures. 4.Laboratory Duties: Collect and prepare laboratory specimens, perform basic laboratory tests, and record results in patient records. 5.Medication Management: Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers. Ensure accurate medication records and maintain inventory of medical supplies. 6.Patient Education: Provide educational materials and resources to patients and families. Assist in coordinating patient referrals and follow-up care.
1.Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program. 2.Experience: Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred. 3.Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations. 4.Certifications: Certification from a recognized Medical Assistant program (CMA, RMA) is preferred. 5.Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, assist patients with mobility, and perform repetitive tasks.
